I’m a south coast based photographer located in Portsmouth and West Dorset.
My passion for photography started when I was in the Royal Air Force whilst posted in the Western Isles of Scotland, upon later being based in London I started to freelance assist a beauty/fashion photographer, Will White, on my days off between my shifts. On leaving the RAF I secured an assisting role at a below the line advertising, still life, studio in South West London and later as a studio manger with a high profile photographer in West London. After leaving London for the south coast I turned my back on photography as a career and went back to working with aircraft as a mechanic. However the passion for photography has never left, recently I was a unit stills photographer on a small indie short, Musketeer with the amazing Kevin McNally as the lead. I am also the photographer (volunteer) for the Tank Museum, assigned to Workshops (very documentary style) and Archives (still life) located in Dorset, UK.
I am traditionally trained on film, medium format and 5x4.
